Custom Software

Custom software and business systems, built to your requirements

Web applications, CRM systems, portals and internal tools designed around how your business actually operates. Not a product with your logo on it — software written for your process.

Signs you have outgrown spreadsheets

  • The real version of a file is whichever one was emailed most recently
  • One person is the only one who knows how a process works
  • Answering "what is the status of that order?" takes twenty minutes
  • The same data is typed into three systems
  • You cannot report on last quarter without rebuilding it by hand
Where this usually goes wrong

Software that describes a process nobody follows

Most failed business systems fail the same way. The specification was written from how the process is supposed to work, the software was built to match, and then the people who do the job every day went back to the spreadsheet — because the real process has exceptions that the specification never mentioned.

The second failure is the off-the-shelf product bought for one feature. It brings twenty features you do not need, a data model that does not match your business, and a per-user licence that grows faster than your team. Six months in, the workarounds have become the process.

The third is the system with no way out: no export, no API, no documentation, and a developer who has moved on.

We start by watching the work as it is done, including the exceptions. You own the source code and the database. Everything we build can get its data out.

What we build

Custom web applications Browser-based tools your team reaches from the office, a factory floor or a phone.
CRM systems Contacts, enquiries, quotations and follow-ups structured around your sales process.
Customer portals Order status, documents, specifications and history, available to your clients directly.
Business management portals One place for the operational data currently spread across files and inboxes.
Internal workflow systems Approvals, handovers and stage tracking, with a record of who did what and when.
Database applications Microsoft SQL Server designed properly, so reporting is a query rather than a project.
API integrations Connecting your systems to accounting, logistics, e-commerce or a partner's platform.
Business process automation Removing the re-typing, the copy-paste and the manual monthly report.
Modernising an existing system Keeping the data and the logic that work; replacing the parts that are failing.
Reporting and dashboards The numbers you currently assemble by hand, produced automatically from live data.

How a project runs

Small, visible stages. You see working software early and often.

  1. 1

    Discovery

We watch the current process and write down what really happens, exceptions included.

  2. 2

    Specification

Screens, data model and scope, agreed in writing before any code is written.

  3. 3

    Build in stages

Two-week increments. Each one ends with something you can open and use.

  4. 4

    Test & migrate

Your data moved in, your team trained, run in parallel until it is trusted.

  5. 5

    Support

Fixes, changes and improvements as the business changes around it.

Example scenario

A trading company running quotations on email and spreadsheets

Illustrative, not a client.

Before

Enquiries arrive in three inboxes. Each is quoted from a personal copy of a pricing spreadsheet. Nobody can say how many quotations are open, which ones went quiet, or what the win rate is by product or by market. When someone is on leave, their enquiries stop.

Built

A web application on ASP.NET and SQL Server: enquiries captured from the website form and from email, one shared price list with version history, quotations generated as PDF from a template, automatic follow-up reminders, and a dashboard showing open value by stage, product and market.

Result

The business-level outcome is simple: no enquiry is lost because one person was busy, and the question "how are we doing this month?" has an answer on screen instead of taking a day to assemble.

Technology

What we build on, and why

Boring technology, chosen because it will still be maintainable in five years.

  • ASP.NET & C#

Mature, strongly typed, well documented, and widely hireable in Vietnam.

  • Microsoft SQL Server

Proper relational design, real backups, and reporting tools your accountant can use.

  • You own everything

Source code, database and documentation are yours. No lock-in, no licence trap.

  • Integration-ready

APIs and exports from the start, so the next system can talk to this one.
